BlackRockFMC’sFixedIncometeamissearchingforaVP/Director,HeadofFixedIncomeResearchtobebasedinShanghai.Inanewlycreatedrole,thesuccessfulcandidatewillleadarapidlygrowingteamofanalysts.Ahighlyskilledcreditanalystthemselves,therolealsorequiresstrongpeoplemanagementskills,andacomprehensiveunderstandingoftheregulatoryenvironmentweoperatein.Inadditiontopeoplemanagement,thecandidatewillalsoberesponsibleforprimarycreditcoverageofadefinedlistofIssuersandworkcollaborativelywithpartnersacrossthefirm.AnunderstandingoftheframeworksandmethodologiesofinternationalRatingsAgenciesisanadvantage.

Generalistsareencouragedtoapply,althoughexpertiseinprivatelyownedenterprises(POE’s)andHighYieldishighlyregarded.Candidateswithknowledgeof,andexperienceinapplyingEnvironmental,Social,andGovernance(ESG)considerationsarealsoencouraged.

APACFIGoperatesaspartofGlobalFIG.Theteamcurrentlycomprisesmorethan10professionalswithpersebackgroundsandskills,includingrelationshipmanagement,markets,sales,strategy,regulatory,clientservice,andproductdevelopment,inadditiontocomprehensiveinsuranceknowledge.Theteamispassionateaboutfirstclassclientcoverageaswellasfurtherimproving,evolving,anddevelopingexistingrelationships.

TheAssociate,APACFIGroleisbasedinHongKongandreportstotheHeadofAPACFIG.Thisroleprovidesanopportunityforaninpidualtobecomeanintegralmemberofagrowingteamofinsuranceindustryleaders.He/shewillworkcloselywiththeHeadandseniorleadershipofAPACFIG,supportingtheminnewbusinessdevelopmentinitiativeswithstrategicallyimportantinsuranceclientsofBlackRockaswellasbusinessmanagementinitiatives.Insodoing,theAssociatewillworkcloselywithAPACFIGRelationshipManagers,theInsuranceSolutionsteam,APACFIGBusinessManagerandabroadgroupofinternal(investment/product/businessmanagementteamsandsupportfunctions)andexternalpartners.
